How ClearPath Fraud Help collects, uses, and protects your information, and the choices you have.

Effective date: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ClearPath Fraud Help (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit clearpathfraudhelp.com (the “Site”) or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use our contact form, email us, or call us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, the topic of your message, and the message itself.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and the referring website. This information is used to keep the Site secure and working properly.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the Site may not work as intended. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy.

2. How we use your information

  • To read and respond to your questions, feedback, and requests.
  • To improve our guides and the Site.
  • To protect the Site against spam, fraud, and security threats.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.

3. We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. When we share information

We share information only in limited situations:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Site, such as our website host and email provider, who may only use it to provide services to us.
  • Third-party content. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. Google’s use of that data is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
  • Legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or ClearPath Fraud Help.
  • Business transfers, if the Site is sold or transferred, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

5. Please don’t send sensitive information

Do not send us bank or card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or similar sensitive details. We don’t need them to answer your questions. If you send them anyway, we will delete information we don’t need.

6. How long we keep information

We keep messages only as long as needed to respond to you and for reasonable record-keeping, and server logs for a limited period for security purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on the state where you live, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.
  • Request a copy of your personal information.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it).
  • Appeal our decision if we deny your request.

To make a request, email info@clearpathfraudhelp.com with the subject line “Privacy Request,” or choose “Privacy request” on our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and you may use an authorized agent. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

9. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as a valid opt-out request where required by law.

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other websites

Our guides link to government agencies, bar associations, and other outside websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
